I'm a typography nerd and I think a basic understanding is really useful for teachers when we're trying to communicate effectively with all students - so I made this short typesetting guide.
This is just a first step towards a set of classroom design principles much like the UK Government Design Principles.
The font I recommend is Atkinson Hyperlegible.
